We recently took a trip to Hilton Head and Adventure Playground was right across the street from our condo. My 2-year-old wanted to play here every day. The park/playground is right behind The Sandbox Interactive Children’s Museum, and 1/2 mile from Coligny Beach. There are lots of fun things to do right in this little area with kids!

I loved the soft ground covers since my toddler loves to run, but sometimes falls. I feel like the pirate ship had the hardest surfaces and is probably better for older kids.

Best Times to Go (Avoid the Crowds & Heat)
Mornings and late afternoons are best, especially in summer, when the heat and crowds are more manageable. We loved going in the mornings since we were up early! We had the place to ourselves, but more kids came as the day went on.
What to Bring for a Family Day at the Park
Bring water, sunscreen, and snacks. Don’t forget swimsuits, swim shoes, swim diapers, towels, and a change of clothes if your kids want to enjoy the splash pad.
