4 Exciting Attractions at MagiQuest in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

There are so many fun things to do while in the Great Smoky Mountains. We recently spent an afternoon at MagiQuest in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and had a great time! This castle is 4 attractions in one and it has something for everyone in the family!

Four Attractions:

  • MagiQuest
  • Pirate Golf
  • Adventure Arcade
  • Odyssey Mirror Maze Adventure

When you enter MagiQuest, you can decide which attractions you want to participate in. All of your information from the quests and the arcard are loaded onto this card. The progress that you make during your quests is saved on your card, so you can just keep that if you want to come back to play more later. You can also add more time through the available kiosks (this is completely optional, but if you want to keep the fun going and get more time, it is available at a reasonable cost).

You can also decide if you want to buy wands for MagiQuest or you can pair up or make teams to share a wand to save money.

MagicQuest

MagicQuest is located upstairs in the castle and has several rooms. This is an interactive, live-action, role-playing game where you hunt for treasure. Each player/wizard uses a magic wand and clue book to finish quests and adventures. You can wave your magic wand to “cast spells” and to find the clues. You will find yourself in a scavenger hunt as you also battle dragons and goblins. Anyone who loves wizards, dragons, or mystical creatures will especially enjoy these activities.

We had about an hour to complete the quests. As you go along, the quests get longer and more complex. If you finish all of the quests, there are adventure modes to play as well. **Here’s a little tip that will hopefully help: get each item in order!

Look for clues in these themed rooms:

  • Fairy Forest
  • Village
  • Dragon Dungeon
  • Goblin Chamber

What You’ll Get to do:

  • Find hidden treasure
  • Discover secret doors
  • Complete quests
  • Battle the dragon
  • Search for the princess’ jewels
  • Fight the goblin king

      Pirate Golf

We love a good game of mini-golf so the Pirate golf game was perfect for us! This was probably my favorite part of our visit to MagiQuest!

This black-light, 18-hole miniature golf course is set in a Caribbean pirate village. It’s a fun mini-golf game and treasure hunt with villagers entertaining you along the way. If you hit a hole-in-one on the 18th hole, you’ll be serenaded by Blackbeard and his friends.

This mini-golf game is great for all ages and is perfect if you want to play mini-golf on a day that’s hot, cold, or rainy.

      Adventure Arcade

This is the newest addition to the MagiQuest castle! There are lots of new and classic games here. Like Chuck E Cheese or Dave and Buster’s, you get points (loaded to a card) and you can redeem the points for prizes.

Some of the games we played:

      • Halo
      • Jurassic Park
      • Wizard of Oz
      • NBA Gametime
      • Mario Kart
      • World’s Largest Pac-Man
      • Skee-Ball

I think my kids could have spent the whole day in the arcade! They liked the games and getting prizes after collecting all of their points. It was definitely one of their favorite parts of Magiquest.

        Odyssey Mirror Maze Adventure

At the recently renovated Odyssey Mirror Maze, you are given gloves (in case you touch the glass/mirrors) and then make your way into the maze. This whole area is bright and colorful with lots of lights and music. We all enjoyed trying to find our way through the many loops, twists, and turns. It doesn’t take a long time to make your way through the maze and it is a lot of fun!

        Concession Stand

You’ll probably get hungry and thirsty while enjoying your MagiQuest adventures and you can get some snacks and drinks at the concession stand located downstairs.

Goodies You’ll Find At the Concession Stand:

        • ICEEs
        • All-Beef Hotdogs
        • Popcorn
        • Sodas
        • Green Mountain Coffee
        • Pizza

The concessions area and admission to the MagiQuest game close one hour prior to our actual closing time.

If you’re in the Smoky Mountains/Pigeon Forge area, MagiQuest is a great place to spend a few hours with the family. The arcade games, mirror maze, and mini golf are always a big hit and MagiQuest is perfect for anyone who loves adventures and puzzles.
