The Best Cheap Eats at Epcot
I love finding the BEST Cheap Eats at Epcot! It’s so fun to try EVERYTHING! And, the snacks come in small portions and I usually end up saving a little money. I just walk around to all of the little “countries”, eating bread and sweets, and get all fat and sassy. It’s wonderful!
P.S. This is my suggestion about eating EPCOT – which you can take or leave. If you are visiting EPCOT with a friend or partner, I suggest that you visit all the kiosks and quick-service counters that you like. Share everything. That way, you get to try a nice variety of foods and you can eat your way “around the world”. Or, if you’re like me and don’t want to share – just eat it all yourself!
I have found that there are two really great ways to save money on food at Disney World:
- Split or Share Meals (if possible)
- Find Meals and Snacks That are $10.00 or less
So, I compiled a list of meals you can share AND food under $10 at Epcot and I’m sharing it with you! These are some really delicious and filling cheap eats at Epcot! You can also scroll down to the bottom of this post for more Disney money-saving tips.
#1 Meals You Can Split at Epcot
Are All Meals Sharable?
No, not all meals at Disney World are shareable. Please know, when making your plans, you can’t split a family-style meal or buffet meal. But, any quick service or table service meal that is not prix fixe (total fixed price for each person) can be shared. For example, if you go to Garden Grill for dinner, the prices are prix fixe. You will pay $62.00 per adult and $37.00 per child. You cannot split this meal.
With that being said, there ARE a lot of options at Epcot if you are looking for meals to split at this Disney World park:
- Via Napoli (Italy) – Located in the Italy Pavilion in the World Showcase, this Italian restaurant serves up some hearty dishes. You can get a Family House Salad that serves a minimum of 2 people for $9.00. Large pizzas cost anywhere from $33.00 to $54.00. One scenario could be that a couple or small family gets the Family House Salad for $9.00 AND a 20″ Large Margherita Pizza for $33.00 – If everyone drinks water, that’s $42.00 for dinner for a couple or family of 3-4. A large spicy Italian sausage pizza is $38.00, so add the $9.00 family salad, and drink water, and your dinner total is $47.00.
- Via Napoli (Italy) – If you have a larger group or family, you could order the Margherita 1/2 Meter Mezzo Metro for $44.00. It’s massive (see photo below). Depending on your group size (and how much pizza they like to eat), this could cost $5.50 – 7.50 per person. Let’s say 6 people share this pizza – that’s about $7.35 per person. If you throw in a couple of Family House Saladas + the Meter Mezzo Pizza ($62.00 total)-that’s about $10.35 per person (for 6 people). If 8 people share the huge pizza that’s $5.50 per person. Or, if you throw in a couple of Family Salads + Pizza ($62.00 total) – that’s about $7.75 per person (for 8 peeps).
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie
- Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie (France)- Okay, so this is more of a “cheap eats” option than a meal to split. But, I’ll take any excuse to visit this restaurant – it’s so good! The Croissant Jambon Fromage (Ham & Cheese Croissant w/bechamel) here is only $6.95 (and they’ll heat it up if you ask). The Quiche Lorraine (Ham and Gruyere) is $7.00. And, the Bisque de Homard (Lobster Bisque in a bread bowl) is $5.95. A couple could pick 2 options and even throw in a fresh-baked French Baguette to share for $3.50, and you’ve got a filling meal for less than $20.00. (Individual Croissants are $2.95 each if you prefer those to baguettes – or, they’re such a good deal – get both!!)
La Cantina de San Angel
- La Cantina de San Angel (Mexico) -Kids (or adults) can split the Chicken Tacos (grilled chicken on corn tortillas served with Tortilla Chips, Nacho Cheese, a Drink, and a side of Fruit) for $9.25. You can even add a side of rice ($2.25) and a side of beans ($2.25) for the kids to share and you’ve got a filling meal for $13.75.
- La Cantina de San Angel (Mexico) -Two people could share the Taco Trio (Barbacoa, Pollo, and Pescado Tacos on homemade Corn Tortillas. Served with Rice and Black Beans with Queso Fresco) for $14.99. You can even add an extra side of rice ($2.25) and a side of beans ($2.25) to split and the meal is $19.49 (plus tax). You honestly could share any of the entrees here (tacos, nachos, empanadas) adding a side of rice and beans and you’ll end up paying around $20.00.
Tacos!! at La Cantina de San Angel
- Block & Hans (American Adventure)- For a hearty snack, split a Mickey Pretzel with Cheese Sauce AND a Craft Beer for about $19.00 ($7.75 + $11.25 plus tax). Mickey Pretzels are only $7.75 if you want to split a snack without the beer.
- Restaurant Marrakesh (Morocco) – You could split the Appetizer Combination for Two (Beef Brewat Rolls, Chicken Bastilla, and Jasmina Salad). It is available for lunch and dinner and is $17.99. And/Or, split the Bastilla Dessert for 2 for $10.99.
Sunshine Seasons
- Sunshine Seasons – The Oak-Grilled Rotisserie Chicken at Sunshine Seasons is served with Yellow Rice and Black Beans (you can ask to substitute other sides). It can easily be shared by two people and costs $12.79. You could even split a dessert (Mini Chocolate Bundt Cake, Lemon Chiffon, or Strawberry Shortcake) for $5.29 and you’ve got a meal for 2 for about $18.00 (plus tax).

Other Ways to Save Money on Food at Disney
- Adults can order Kid’s Meals for themselves. I find that the portions are smaller but still generous. And, they usually come with a side, some fruit, and a drink. Yes, you will find a lot of sandwiches and burgers, but some of the kid’s meals are very interesting choices.
- Children can also split meals at Disney World. Kids can order and share an “adult” entree. Maybe the restaurant only serves Uncrustables and Turkey Sandwiches from the kid’s menu. The kiddos could, instead, split a chicken breast nugget meal (8 decent-sized chicken nuggets and fries) or a bowl of spaghetti with meatballs (or any other entree). Hopefully, you’re lucky and your kiddos will want to eat the same entree.
- Cups of water are FREE.
- You can bring your own snacks and even meals to Disney World. I’ve seen a mom whip out bread and peanut butter from underneath her stroller and start making sandwiches for her kids. While waiting in line for 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, I watched a young man behind us pull out a Tupperware of pasta to eat.
- You can split an entree and add a side or two to keep costs down. Or, add bread (a few restaurants offer complimentary bread). These can make your meal more filling and make for an inexpensive breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I’ve tried to give you many examples of these in the list below.
…continued
- Bring your own food/snacks for your room. If you’re driving to Disney, you can bring groceries with you. Or, if you have a rental car while in Orlando, you can do Grocery pickup. You can also have food delivered from an online grocer. Just know that most resorts do charge a fee now ( I think it’s like $6.00).
- Eat breakfast in your room. I’m not a big breakfast eater. I like a cup of coffee (or 4) and maybe a granola bar to keep me going until lunch. Disney hotels usually have a mini fridge in the room for juice and yogurt, etc. And, if there isn’t a microwave in your room, there should be one at the resort food court. We’ve used this to heat up frozen breakfast foods or leftovers (pizza for breakfast, anyone?)
- If staying off-site, find a hotel that offers a free breakfast. Or, find a hotel with a kitchenette or an Airbnb to make your own breakfast (or lunch or dinner).
- After a long day at the parks, a day off from the parks, or an arrival day, just order a pizza. Wait for it to be delivered, and share it with the family for a relatively cheap dinner. Family-sized pizzas (About 8 slices) usually run about $17.99+ plus tax and tip.
- If you have Starbucks gift cards lying around, bring them to Disney World. You can use them at any Starbucks location at the parks. See locations HERE.

Epcot was BY FAR our favorite park to visit! The best food for sure.
Oh, yes…eating all around the world…love it
Ooohhh….I should always have about 10 dollars on me, for a meal? Thank you for this list. I will try out as many as possible on my next trip to Disney World!
I order the kid’s meals all the time at Disney World. The portions are great and it ends up being cheaper than any fast food meal outside the parks.
This really helps us families who are planning a Disney trip this year! I’d love to eat my way around the world.
Oh yes! I always find something different and yummy and every country pavilion!
I have heard that food at Epcot is reasonable. However, its lunch time here and the food post had made me hungry. Thanks for the amazing one.
You’re Welcome! Yes, You can try something at each “Country” for less than $10 (each). I like to walk around World Showcase with my husband and share something from each pavilion. We can snack all day in the 11 countries for about $100 by sharing.
So many yummy pastries! Thanks to this I can create a budget for our next trip 🙂
Oh yes… Epcot is wonderful if you have a sweet tooth!
Tacos are always a great choice if you want cheap meals. To save more, I also bring food to our room every time we stay at Disney hotel.
Oh, yes, the tacos!! I always head to Mexico when the World Showcase opens up at 11 and get me some tacos. And I bring water and snacks to the room. Water can cost up to $4.00/bottle and we save money by eating breakfast in our room. Great tips!
So many great food choices! Your pictures and menu options are fabulous for a foodie day at Epcot! Adding some of these yummy options for my next trip to Disney and Epcot!
Yay! Have a great trip!
