Disney World’s Fun (and Delicious) Festival of the Arts 2022
|If you love beautiful artwork, Broadway-caliber shows, and delicious food, you will love Disney’s Festival of the Arts at Epcot. Our family was fortunate enough to experience this festival, which runs from January 14 to February 21, 2022.
Even though the Festival of the Arts is shortly coming to an end for 2022, I hope this post will help you in deciding if you would like for your future trip to Disney World to include this festival ( I vote YES!!).
The Festival of the Arts is included with admission to Epcot. Many of the Art demonstrations and even Disney on Broadway are included with your visit. Only pay for food, special art experience (see bike spin art below), and any artwork you would like to take home.
The Art & Art Activities
- Animation Academy: Visit the America Gardens Theatre and learn how to draw a Disney Character from an animation artist.
- See & Buy Beautiful Disney-themed Artwork
- Chalk Art: Discover how chalk can turn an ordinary piece of pavement into a canvas for imaginative masterpieces!
Bicycle Spin Art (Paid Painting Activity)
My kiddos loved this fun and unique activity!! Watch your canvas spin as you ride the bike, while someone adds in your preferred paint colors. This was a lot of fun and brought back a lot of childhood memories! When we were there (02/2022), this activity was $18 or $45 for 3 people.
Painting Figment (Free Paint-By-Number Activity)
Disney on Broadway
We are some huge musical theater/Broadway show fans, so we were so excited to find out about Disney on Broadway at EPCOT. There were different Broadway Stars for different days. On the day of our visit, we were able to see performances by Kara Lindsay and Dan DeLuca, both from Newsies. They put on a great show singing songs from Newsies and other Broadway shows.
DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series Dining Package
The Disney on Broadway show was free/included with admission and there was plenty of seating. BUT, I wanted to make sure we had guaranteed seats so I opted to pay for the dinner and show package. I am so glad that we did. We had a wonderful dinner at Garden Grill and we were able to sit on the front row to see the show!
In addition to Garden Grill Restaurant, you could eat at The Rose & Crown Dining Room, Coral Reef Restaurant, or Biergarten Restaurant. These meals range from $57-69 per adult and $22-43 per child. At the end of our meal, we were given stickers to be worn on our shirts for early entry to the Broadway concert and priority seating.

EPCOT Favorites
And, of course, while you’re in EPCOT, you can try some of your favorites while eating and drinking “around the world”.
Have you been to the Festival of the Arts at EPCOT? Are you planning on visiting next year?
I hope you do! Eat lots of yummy food for me!
I want to thank Taylor Bailey at Disrella Travel for planning this trip for us and answering all of our questions! If you need/want help planning your Disney trip, she’s your girl! And, having a Disney planner is no extra cost to you. I actually priced the trip out myself on disney.go.com and Taylor’s quote was about $600 less than what I had planned myself! We loved our room location, our dining reservations, and having someone help us make decisions and figure things out!
