2019 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival
We had a wonderful time on our recent trip to Epcot. We were able to taste our way around the world at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival!
From August 29 until November 23, 2019, Epcot is having their annual International Food and Wine Festival at the Epcot World Showcase. Just when you thought Epcot couldn’t get any yummier…well, they do. This festival is a foodie’s dream! In addition to all of the delicious dishes, the festival also offers fine wine, craft beer, spirits, and other beverages (some non-alcoholic).
Your admission to the park includes visiting the festival and no additional ticket is required to attend the Food & Wine Festival. Each Marketplace Booth represents a different country. They offer a small portion of popular dishes from their region (costing anywhere from $3-$8). While enjoying the festival, you can order whatever you like and sit anywhere to enjoy your food. I highly recommend wearing stretchy pants on the day of your visit to this festival.
Each menu shows which dishes are vegan, gluten-free, and/or kid-approved. There is also a recommended food and drink pairing. I always have trouble knowing what drinks pair well with certain foods so this is a great help!
Before heading into the World Showcase, you can stop by the Epcot Food and Wine Festival Welcome Center to receive details and helpful tips and information. Here at the Welcome Center, you can get a Park Map, Times Guide, and Festival Passport.
As we entered the World Showcase, we headed east because…well… the smells of Thailand and Mexico were calling our name!
There are over 30 individual marketplaces and about 200 dishes to enjoy while at this festival – so many great options! Here is the route we took, Marketplaces we visited, and the dishes we enjoyed:

Oh France, you are so delicious! The Creme Brulee with Chocolate Hazelnut Cream was pure heaven! After breaking through the caramelized sugar topping, you find the rich custard underneath. Then you find the wonderful surprise – a thick layer of hazelnut and chocolate creaminess – YUM!

My favorite part of our day at Epcot is when the sun began to set and the cool breezes began to blow. The walkways were lit with warm lighting and Spaceship Earth began to glow in a gorgeous purple/magenta color. And… the smells of the food continue to fill the air.

I have to admit that Canada was my FAVORITE at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival! Their “Le Cellier” Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon was wonderful…and that Truffle Butter Sauce was out-of-this-world delicious!

I love the red wine at these kinds of festivals. When the next festival held?
The 2019 festival runs until November 23rd. Epcot has this food and wine festival every year, usually in the fall. I don’t think the 2020 dates have been announced yet, but you can check the Disney web page for updates.
