Cruiseport Hotels with FREE Parking

 

Who knew that you could get FREE Parking while you’re on your cruise just by staying at a hotel at a cruise port?

One of the hidden costs of cruising is parking. Parking at a cruise terminal can cost up to $20.00 per day. That’s $140 for a 7 day cruise. But, the good news is that many hotels located near cruise ports offer a “Park & Cruise” type package for cruisers. If you stay at least one night at their hotel, you can get free parking at the hotel for the duration of your cruise. Some hotels even provide a free shuttle service to and/or from the cruise port. Sweet! I like to stay in a hotel the night before a cruise anyway so this is wonderful for us. Plus, we can throw that $140 back in our wallet for some souvenirs and pina colada’s!

Some of these hotels provide parking, but the cruiser is responsible for transportation to/from the port (taxi, Uber, Lyft, etc.) A few hotels offer a shuttle, but there is a fee to use it.

Some also provide a free breakfast, which is a big money saver especially for families. And, it’s one less thing to worry about on the morning of your cruise.

Hotels can change their policies at any time, so please call the hotel ahead of time and make sure of their current offers, rates, and policies (some hotels have their packages posted on their website, and some don’t, so it’s best to call and double check). I also recommend that you look up reviews of the hotels and make sure of the location and amenities of the ones you are interested in. If a hotel offers to pick up cruisers (with a shuttle service), it is important to let the hotel know the day and approximate time you will be returning and need to be picked up.

Orlando, Florida

• Clarion Hotel Orlando Airport – Free Parking for up to 7 days. Shuttle service available.
• Sleep Inn Orlando Airport – Free Parking for up to 7 days. Shuttle service available.
• Best Western Orlando Airport – Free Parking for up to 7 days. Shuttle Service to Port Canaveral $50 per person/Round trip.

 

Port Canaveral, Florida

• Country Inn and Suites Port Canaveral – This Country Inn and Suites is the closest hotel to Port Canaveral. This hotel offers free parking for up to 30 days,  free breakfast, and a free shuttle to Port Canaveral.
• Radisson Inn Port Canaveral – This Radisson Inn offers free parking for the duration of your cruise (up to 21 days), and a complimentary shuttle service for up to two (and kids 6 and under are free).
• Days Inn Cocoa Beach – Located about 15 minutes from the cruise port, this Days Inn offer free parking for up to 30 days, and free roundtrip shuttle service for up to 2 people ($15 for each additional person).

 

 

Tampa, Florida

•  Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina – This hotel offers a Park & Cruise Package (Use promo code PCJ). This package includes room, breakfast for two, and parking for up to 7 nights.
• Barrymore Hotel Tampa Riverwalk – The Barrymore Hotel offers a “Ship and Shore” package. The package includes complimentary transportation to the cruise port and free parking for up to 10 days.
• Tampa Stadium Hotel  (formerly Holiday Inn Express Tampa) – Free parking for up to 14 days, and free roundtrip shuttle transportation to the cruise port.
• Quality Inn & Suites – Quality Inn & Suites offers free parking up to 14 days, and free round trip cruise shuttle service. They also provide a free continental breakfast, and free wifi.  Room rate based on 2 people, and children under 16 stay free.
• Hyatt Place Tampa Cruiseport and Airport – Hyatt Place Tampa offers free parking up to 14 days. They also provide a free shuttle service to/from your cruise port. The hotel also offers a free breakfast.

 

 

Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

• Days Inn Hollywood Ft. Lauderdale – Free parking for up to 14 days, Free breakfast, and free WIFI. A shuttle to the terminal is available for $15 each way.
• Rodeway Inn and Suites Ft. Lauderdale – Free parking for up to 10 days, free breakfast, free WIFI, and a free shuttle to Port Everglades that leaves every morning at 10:00 a.m.
• Candlewood Suites Ft. Lauderdale – This Candlewood Suites offers a park and cruise package that includes parking and a shuttle to the port .

• Sheraton Suites Plantation Ft. Lauderdale – Free parking for the duration of your cruise (up to 30 days). This Sheraton also offer free breakfast. There is no shuttle service by taxi’s are able at a cost (or Uber or Lyft).
• Hyatt Place Ft Lauderdale (17th Street Convention Center) – Free parking for up to 10 days. Shuttle service is available at $7 per person and is drop off only.
• Cambria Hotel & Suites – Free Parking and $10 shuttle to cruise port. Also has free Wifi.

 

 

Jacksonville, Florida

• Jacksonville Plaza Hotel & Suites – Free parking for up to 7 days. Shuttle to cruise terminal is provided, but costs $21.00 or you can call a taxi, Lyft, or Uber.
• Travelodge Hotel Jacksonville – Free parking for up to 7 days. Free Shuttle Jacksonville cruise port for two (each additional person is $18). Travelodge also has free Breakfast, and free Internet.

 

 

 

 

Miami, Florida

• Comfort Suites Miami Airport – This Comfort Suites offer a special park and cruise rate which includes free parking for up to 7 days.
• Red Roof Plus Miami – This Red Roof Plus offers a free shuttle with free drop off (only to cruise port). The hotel also offers free breakfast, free internet, and free parking.
• Holiday Inn Miami West –  Free Parking for up to 10 days. There is a shuttle for the airport, but not for the cruise port. Taxi’s are available.
• Hilton Garden Inn Miami –  This Hilton Garden Inn offers free parking for up to 14 days.  There is a free cruise port shuttle drop off for two people at 10:45am, 12pm, 1:15pm. Each additional person is $12.oo.
• Hollywood Beach Marriott – The Hollywood Beach Marriot is located near the famous South Florida shore – about 25 miles from the Miami Cruise Port. But, it offers free parking. If you’re looking for a beach day or some pre-cruise sun, this is a nice option.
• Hampton Inn Coconut Grove –  This Hampton Inn sits near the water in Coconut Grove and comes with 7 nights parking included in the rate.

 

 

New Orleans, Louisiana

• Wyndham New Orleans French Quarter – Wyndham is located only a half a mile away from the cruise port in New Orleans. They offer a  “Park & Cruise” package, which includes 7 days of free parking (they have a secure garage)  with a one night stay at the hotel.
• Holiday Inn Superdome New Orleans Cruiseport – This Holiday Inn offers free parking for up to 8 days. There is no shuttle service available, but taxi’s are available for about $10-15.
• Holiday Inn West Bank Tower – This Holiday Inn offers free parking for the duration of your cruise and a bon voyage breakfast for two. There is no shuttle service available, but you can call for a taxi or Lyft/Uber.
• Country Inn and Suites by Carlson – Free parking for duration of your cruise. They also offer free transportation to the cruise port, but you will have to get transportation back to the hotel to pick up your car after your cruise.
• Comfort Suites Harvey – The Comfort Suites is relatively new and very affordable and offers free parking while on your cruise.
• Courtyard Marriot New Orleans Westbank – The Courtyard Marriot is also a newer hotel and offers free parking for the duration of your cruise with a hotel stay.

 

 

Mobile, Alabama

• Admiral Hotel – The Admiral Hotel offers complimentary breakfast for two and parking for up to five nights while you take your cruise.
• Microtel Inn and Suites Mobile Cruiseport – This Microtel offers free parking up to 14 days, and a free shuttle to and from Mobile cruise port (the free shuttle is for two people. Each additional person is $10 each). The hotel also offers free breakfast.
• Holiday Inn Mobile Cruiseport – Holiday Inn offers free unlimited parking for up to 30 days, and free round trip cruise port shuttle service.
• Courtyard Mobile Daphne/Eastern Shore – Courtyard offers a package that includes guest room accommodations, parking for the duration of the cruise, and round trip transportation to the cruise terminal.

• Hilton Galveston Island Resort – This resort offers free parking and transportation to the cruise port.
• Rodeway Inn Galveston– This Rodeway Inn offers free parking for the duration of trip (up to 14 days). Taxi service is available for $15-20 each way. The hotel also offers free breakfast and free WIFI.
• The San Luis Resort – This resort offers cruisers free parking and a shuttle to the port.
• Holiday Inn Resort Galveston – Offers free parking for duration of your cruise and a free shuttle to the cruise port by staying one or more nights at the hotel.

 

 

Los Angeles/Long Beach, California

• Crowne Plaza at LA Harbor –  This Crowne Plaza offers a Park, Stay, and Go Package that allows guest to park their car for free for up to 7 days with a one night stay. They also offer a complimentary round trip shuttle service to the LA Cruise Port.-
• Pacific Inn Long Beach -The Pacific Inn offers free parking for up to 7 days, a free Long Beach round trip cruise port shuttle, and a free Long Beach round trip airport shuttle. They also offer a free breakfast.
• Quality Inn Long Beach – Offers free parking for up to 10 days (different packages available), and free shuttle service.
• Hotel Maya ( a Doubletree by Hilton) – Hotel Maya offers a Park, Stay, and Go package that includes parking for the duration of your cruise and transportation to the cruise port.
• Residence Inn Marriot Long Beach Downtown – Offers free parking for up to four days. Also includes free breakfast.

 

 

San Diego, California

• Holiday Inn Express San Diego – This Holiday Inn Express offers a package that includes free parking for up to 14 days and a free shuttle to the cruise terminal. They also have a free hot breakfast bar for guests.
• Comfort Inn San Diego At The Harbor – Located near the breach (and only four miles from the cruise port), this Comfort Inn offers up to 7 days free parking and a free shuttle to the cruise port. They also provide a free breakfast.
• Howard Johnson San Diego – This Howard Johnson offers free parking for up to 7 days and a crusieport shuttle drop off is available at $10 per room.  Free parking up to 7 days.  They also provide a free breakfast, and free WiFi.
• The Dana on Mission Bay – Located about 7 miles from the cruise port, The Dana offers 10 days of free parking and round-trip transportation between the hotel and the cruise terminal.
• Wyndham Bayside San Diego – This Wyndham is located directly across the street from the cruise terminal. They offer a parking package that includes up to 30 days of cruise parking and a shuttle to the cruise port. There are actually several packages available, so call for more info

Charleston, South Carolina

• Best Western Bluegrass Inn – Best Western’s parking package includes one night’s stay, free parking for your cruise, and a free shuttle to and from the port.
• Charleston Grand Hotel – Free Parking and Shuttle service available for $10 per person. This hotel also offers free breakfast.
• Holiday Inn Charleston/Mount Pleasant – Located less than 5 miles from the cruise port, this generous hotel offers deluxe accommodations, parking for duration of your cruise, continental breakfast, and transportation to and from the cruise port.
• Courtyard North Charleston Airport/Coliseum -This hotel is about 10 miles from the cruise port and provides free parking for the length of your trip and free Wi-Fi.
• Wingate by Wyndham Charleston – Free parking for the duration of your cruise, free full breakfast, and free internet.
  A cruise port shuttle available at $14 per person each way or you can call an Uber or Lyft.
• Andrew Pickney Inn -This hotel offers a Parking Package (costs can be over $400) that includes accommodations before or after your cruise, free parking, two tickets for a walking tour of Charleston, deluxe breakfast, and fresh-baked cookies.

 

 

Seattle, Washington

• Knights Inn – Free Parking for 7 or 14 days. Shuttle available for $15 one-way or $26 round trip.
• Warwick Hotel Seattle– This luxury hotel offers free parking during the duration of your cruise. The offer is not listed on the website, so you will have to call. This hotel is located near downtown Seattle and near both Pier 66 & Pier 91 (you can actually walk to Pier 66 from the Warwick in about 10 minute)
• Quality Inn Seattle – Located only 1 mile from the cruise port (and just a few blocks from the Space Needle) Quality Inn offers free parking for up to 7 days, a free cruise port shuttle for two people ($15 for each additional person). They also offer a free full buffet breakfast, and free WiFi. The free parking offer is not posted on their website, but you can call 516.488.6600
• Hotel Nexus – Hotel Nexus offers a parking package with free parking for up to 8 days, a shuttle to the airport, and free breakfast.
• Best Western Seattle Airport – Offers  a parking package that includes accommodations and 7 Days of free parking.

 

 

Baltimore, Maryland

• LaQuinta Inn & Suites Baltimore (South Glen Burnie) – This LaQuinta Inn offers a “Park and Cruise – Hotel and Parking Package” that includes
  free parking up to 14 days, and free round trip cruise shuttle. They also provide free breakfast, and free WiFi.
• Days Inn Glen Burnie Baltimore – Free parking for up to 14 days and must stay the night before the cruise. This hotel also provides a free shuttle service to the cruise port. They also have a Complimentary Continental Breakfast and free WiFi.
• Holiday Inn Express Baltimore At the Stadiums – This Holiday Inn Express provides a shuttle service to and from Port of Baltimore, up to 8 days free parking, complimentary hot breakfast, and free Wi-Fi.
