3 Ways To Get A Great Deal When Renting An RV
|
Renting an RV is a great way to visit several destinations. You can drive around at your leisure, and really enjoy each location you are visiting. You can relax at each destination with your family without feeling rushed.
Renting an RV can be costly when you factor in rental costs, mileage, and gas. Here are a few tips that could help to save a lot of money when renting an RV.
1. Consider Relocating an RV
Several RV rental companies need their vehicles moved from one branch to another all across the USA. Some companies offer Factory Delivery Specials in order to have brand new motorhomes moved from one city to another. Some companies simply need their RV’s moved to a different location. Either way, it can mean some fantastic deals for someone wanting to rent an RV for a week or so.
Sometimes these rentals are 50% off, $1-29+ per day, or even free. They usually include mileage and/or a gas allowance. Each company has their own guidelines, so shop around!
For Example: If you can drive or fly to Indiana to pick up your RV, drop the RV off in Las Vegas, and get back home, you might can get an RV rental for only $29 per day or LESS! I have seen relocation offers for only $1 a day (sometimes these are last minute offers).
Or, you can fly or drive to Boston, cruise down the east coast (lighthouses and Smithsonian Museums, anyone?), and drop off the RV in Florida. Then just make sure you have arrangements to get back home.
There are several locations throughout the country to pick up the RV’s and there are also several drop off locations. Just pick the dates and locations that will work best for you and your family and start planning!
Here are some great websites to shop for RV Relocations:

Canada
Europe
Wicked Campers
Above: Spaceships offers Voyager Campers and Campervans for $1 per day to be relocated from Barcelona, Rome, Dublin and other cites to London! And they usually throw in a free tank of gas!
Australia & New Zealand

2.Renting Directly From An RV Owner
If you were hoping to find a great deal with a little less running around or just want to pick up an RV closer to your home, you might want to consider renting one directly from an owner. RV Share is an RV sharing community. There are lots of different RV’s available in several locations. RV Share also offer FREE 24/7 roadside assistance for your whole trip when you make reservations online.
3.Stalk RV Rental Deal Pages

You might also want to check out Sanidumps.com . It is a great website to find out where you can dump the RV tanks and get fresh water (this isn’t always available at free campsites).
