OWA Amusement Park in Foley, Alabama
We recently spent a few days visiting Gulf Shores and we were able to spend one day of our trip at OWA Amusement Park in Foley Alabama. We had an early lunch at Wahlburgers (also located at OWA) and then we headed over to the amusement park.
The Park has 21 rides including thrill rides, family-friendly rides, and kiddie rides. There is something for everyone in the whole family! We all had a great time!

I have never heard about this amusement park before 🙂 I love rollercoasters!
It’s actually pretty new, Nina. We heard about it from family that lives close to the park.
The color scheme of this entire park is so adorable! I love all of the semi-muted bright colors on the white backgrounds!
It is a beautiful and colorful park!
OMG!! I am too scared of these rides, and opposite on how my husband enjoys all of these so much, I wish I could find that guts.
Our entire family likes roller coasters, but I have to worry about getting sick and dizzy on some rides. Some coasters are too scary for me, too.
Amusement parks liked by children very much..seems like you enjoyed a lot
We had a such a fun time!
That looks like a super fun place to explore with the whole family. We love going to amusement parks during summer.
We do too, Liz! My kids look forward to it all winter!
Oh my goodness the The Wave Rider looks like it would be my favorite and I’m really impressed with the selection of children’s rides. When my kids were little it was so hard to find good parks for them.
Yes! The Wave Rider was so fun! And we love the parks will a nice selection of things to do with smaller kids. Every member of our family found lots of fun rides here.
So fun!! I just went to our local amusement park on Sunday. We had a great time riding all of the rides. It’s just a part of summer!
I know – we look forward to amusement parks all year! It’s one of our favorite parts of summer!
Such an amazing amusement park. I love those bright colors and I am sure everyone is so excited to try the different rides. Now, I am jealous I want to be in that place!
I hope you can visit this park soon, Geraline!
Great amusement park! Looks like they have wonderful options, free parking is a big plus!
Yes! The free parking was very nice!
I love rollercoasters and fast rides! I have to go here now! That raft ride looks fun.
You would have a great time, Lisa! The raft ride was my son’s favorite.
This looks like such a fun place to visit. Some of those rides look awesome and a tad scary! It seems like a lovely family day out.
It was fun, Elizabeth! There were plenty of thrill rides, but there were some that were less scary. Some of the rides scared me, but my ten year old daughter rode them and loved them!
Am always excited to try new rides, its scary at the first but ends with an amazing experience, I like the Tea Time ride its looks unique and fun
The Tea Time was a fun ride!
Rolling Thunder looks super fun!
Yes! Rolling Thunder is definitely a thrill ride, Alexa!
What a breath taking amusement park. Those thunder rides are fun to look at for me, I promised myself that if I survived the one I took years back during spring break that I’d never get on one ever in my life…Yea, I am a wuss. I will gladly take the kids ride any day lol.
I’m the same way now, too! I mostly take the kids and ride the rides that aren’t too scary or “spin-y”. My kids could have rode the rides all day!
This looks so fun! I really enjoy roller coasters so I love going to amusement parks in the summer 🙂
WOW!! This looks like so much fun but not sure I would want to go on the rides. I am such a big baby.
I honestly mostly rode the kiddie rides with my 8 year old son. I’m mostly scared of getting too hot and dizzy. I must be getting old. I could ride roller coasters all the live-long day when I was a kid.
I am terrified of most fair rides. But the flying carousel looks pretty fun I would give that a go!
There were several “tame” rides, Steph! And the flying carousel was a lot of fun!
I’m so excited about this post – it gives me something o expect. We just reserved a spot for the OWA Amusement park in Kansas City North. Can’t wait – so much fun to be had <3
You guys will have the best time, Evelyn!
Oh my god! looks like a dream! i have not been in an amusement park in ages! I used to love roller coasters!
You would love this park, Corinne! I haven’t been to an amusement park in a long time, but my kids love them and we go a lot now.
Never knew this amusement park existed. Love that it’s kid friendly and not far from home. Thanks for the tip!
I hope you get to visit soon, Victoria, especially since it’s so close to you!
