Parking is FREE in marked lots. The main parking lot is located between The Island and the LeConte Events Center. Guests who park here can take a complimentary tram from the lot to the front of The Island.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

Abrams Falls Trail<\/em> <\/a><\/strong> The hike is 5 miles roundtrip and considered moderate in difficulty. Due to the terrain, this hike can take 3-4 hours. Abrams Falls is beautiful, about 20 feet high. Because of the strong currents and an undertow, swimming in the pool at the base of the falls is discouraged because it is so dangerous\/could be fatal. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

Drive (or walk or bike on certain days) through the beautiful Cades Cove<\/strong><\/em><\/a> Valley, one of the most visited spots in The Great Smoky Mountains. The drive to Cades Cove from Gatlinburg is about an hour. You can spend 3-4 hours at Cades Cove if you stop and explore everything. You can just drive through in about 30 minutes. Cades Cove is kind of in the middle of nowhere, so you might want to plan snacks\/drinks\/bathroom stops accordingly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
**Drive** Little River Road<\/strong> <\/em><\/a>by the Little River. Feed the ducks and take a few photos in this lovely area. The road actually spans 18 miles, beginning at Sugarland’s Visitor Center and ending at Cades Cove. There are signs posted to let you know where to find picnic areas, overlooks, hiking trails, and waterfalls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
**Take the family for a lovely, scenic drive along** **Newfound Gap Road<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n**
**Ride the** Gatlinburg Trolley<\/strong><\/em><\/a>. We like to park (either paid parking downtown or at the Gatlinburg Welcome Center for free and ride all throughout Gatlinburg. We can get on and off as we please. It can be a little time-consuming with all of the stops, but sometimes it’s nice to just sit and take a load off (and let someone else do the driving).<\/li>\n\n\n\n

Parking is FREE in marked lots. The main parking lot is located between The Island and the LeConte Events Center. Guests who park here can take a complimentary tram from the lot to the front of The Island.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

Abrams Falls is beautiful, about 20 feet high. Because of the strong currents and an undertow, swimming in the pool at the base of the falls is discouraged because it is so dangerous\/could be fatal. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

Drive (or walk or bike on certain days) through the beautiful Cades Cove<\/strong><\/em><\/a> Valley, one of the most visited spots in The Great Smoky Mountains. The drive to Cades Cove from Gatlinburg is about an hour. You can spend 3-4 hours at Cades Cove if you stop and explore everything. You can just drive through in about 30 minutes. Cades Cove is kind of in the middle of nowhere, so you might want to plan snacks\/drinks\/bathroom stops accordingly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
**Drive** Little River Road<\/strong> <\/em><\/a>by the Little River. Feed the ducks and take a few photos in this lovely area. The road actually spans 18 miles, beginning at Sugarland’s Visitor Center and ending at Cades Cove. There are signs posted to let you know where to find picnic areas, overlooks, hiking trails, and waterfalls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
**Take the family for a lovely, scenic drive along** **Newfound Gap Road<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n**
**Ride the** Gatlinburg Trolley<\/strong><\/em><\/a>. We like to park (either paid parking downtown or at the Gatlinburg Welcome Center for free and ride all throughout Gatlinburg. We can get on and off as we please. It can be a little time-consuming with all of the stops, but sometimes it’s nice to just sit and take a load off (and let someone else do the driving).<\/li>\n\n\n\n

It was so much fun. And, now, with an All-Access Pass, you can also go to the 2nd building for a Zombie Breakout Room, Mirror Maze, and Haunted House. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
If you like true crime, then you need to visit the Alcatraz Museum<\/a><\/strong>. At this crime museum, you can even see Ted Bundy’s VW Beetle and OJ Simpson’s Ford Bronco.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
